It's official. The 45th President of The United States will be Donald J. Trump. A man that has promised to bring back waterboarding, ban Muslims from entering the country, and repeal Obamacare, among other things. While you may be feeling shock, anger, or disbelief, instead of tuning out, now is the time to use those feelings as fuel for reforming our communities into self-sufficient entities.
So, while Trump is preparing to make good on his promises to marginalize and silence us, here are some ways we can make Black America great again, regardless of who's in the Oval Office.

An investment group consists of many people who pool funds together to purchase assets like stocks, bonds, businesses, and property. Starting or joining one of these groups in your immediate community can help insulate us against volatility in the job market and help build wealth for the next generation.
Joining Black Banks
This is a no-brainer and something you can do today. Withdraw your funds from the Big Banks and take your funds over to the closest Black-owned financial institution.
Co-ops are powerful organizing tools that can help your community operate anything from a grocery store to a vibrant sellers market.
Support Existing Black-Owned Businesses
It been documented that we control $1 trillion of spending power. If we circulate those dollars with our own businesses, we can see real progress in our lifetimes.
Underlying all of these methods is collectivism and community empowerment. Lets come out of our shells and connect with one another for positive change.
